New Whitney is made up of three residential programs located in Mission Park, Boston currently supporting 7 individuals, (with the capacity to care for 9) this program funded through the Department of Developmental Services.
Ideal candidates for this management position will have experience working with individuals who have been diagnosed with a developmental or intellectual disabilities, preferably in a residential setting but not required, and will be aware of resources in the community for residents to access. Candidates should possess some experience in a clinical setting as well as experience in more complex medical needs, additional on-the-job training will be provided.
Despite being located in Mission Park, Boston, this program has on-site parking as well as being accessible through public transportation to the green line. This program encourages community integration/ outings and activities.
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of the assigned program, providing leadership, supervision, guidance, and clinical support. The Program Manager actively promotes community inclusion, self-advocacy, and individual rights.
