The Bilingual Outpatient Clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient counseling/therapy to children, adults and families in need of services.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a balanced, healthy, safe and open environment for clients.
  • Provide evaluations, outreach and individual and family treatment to children, adults and families.
  • Coordinate home visits and maintain contact with clients’ families as appropriate.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs within the program as well as with external agencies.
  • Actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records including written evaluations, treatment plans, quarterly reviews, termination summaries and progress notes.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in related field and one year of experience working within an outpatient setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill, including documentation abilities.
  • Intuitive, client-centered, supportive approach.
  • Ability to thrive in an independent role while offering and receiving team support. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
