  • Overview

    The Operations Manager develops and implements operational strategies for BHPMW Behavioral Health Community Partners (BHCP) Services.  This role is responsible for daily operations and administration management.

    The Behavioral Health Partners of MetroWest (BHPMW) provides collaborative care coordination and wellness goal support to individuals with behavioral health and/or substance use needs, based on the recent transformation of Mass Health’s service delivery model.  The partnership is built on a collaboration among five community-based provider agencies: Advocates, Family Continuity, South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), Spectrum Health Systems, and Wayside Youth and Family Support Network, throughout MetroWest, Central and Northern Massachusetts.

    Responsibilities

    • Develops, manages and administers budget in collaboration with senior staff, monitors expenditures and recommends adjustments in collaboration with BHPMW BHCP Project Director.
    • Coordinates BHCP daily operations within the BHPMW central office and with the business units and subcontracted functions.  Leads and/or participates in cross departmental and cross functional work groups including but not limited to billing, finance and reporting.
    • Manages ACO/MCO agreements, BAAs, documented processes, and data exchange with MassHealth, ACO/MCOs and other entities.  Communicates related information to BHPMW BHCP staff, BUs and subcontracted functions and ensures implementation.
    • Supervises the BHCP Administrative Coordinator and Eligibility Specialist.
    • Represents the BHCP on committees and taskforces as needed. 
    • Manages and coordinates projects as assigned.
    • Provide direction and/or training as needed.
    • Works with the Project Director and Director of Population Health to ensure quality management systems are implemented throughout the Programs.  Oversees program development, policies, procedures and standards of practice, which ensure delivery of quality care and compliance with standards or regulatory agencies.
    • Maintains constructive and productive internal and external communications with staff, managers, providers, vendors, and funding sources.
    • Ensures that the clinical integrity of programs and services are maintained.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel knowledge.
    • Experience in operations and budgeting preferred in a behavioral health or social services environment.
    • High energy level, flexibility, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere while also working independently.
    • Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.
    • Must hold a valid driver's license, and have access to an operational and insured vehicle.
    • Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
