    We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to support new builds, repairs and renovation projects within our various group home and clinically-based sites in Central MA.  This opportunity will provide you with best practices and skills development through hands-on direction and training from successful field professionals, while allowing you to exercising your interpersonal, judgement, and problem-solving strengths.

    Days of the Week

    Monday-Friday

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, unclogging pipes/drains, repairing minor appliance issues, repairing/painting walls, basic appliance installations/repairs, and other miscellaneous functions.
    • Assist Property Maintenance Team with various plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, finishing, appliance maintenance, and other miscellaneous functions.
    • Compete walk-throughs and inspections to ensure successful completion.
    • Perform necessary documentation surrounding maintenance calls.
    • Work collaboratively within the field and administrative Maintenance team, as well as program managers and staff.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/GED and a demonstrated interest in property maintenance.
    • Must hold valid driver’s license.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service approach.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, as well as perform independent functions.
    • Computer proficiency and/or willingness to learn new systems.
    • Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
