    Advocates is seeking an experienced, reliable, self-motivated, and energetic Property Maintenance Technician!  This full-time, Monday-Friday position allows you the ability to work independently in a multi-site environment throughout Central MA.  You will exercise your judgement and problem-solving skills when responding to property maintenance work orders at our residential and clinical locations.


    Experience in all aspects of property maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting, and access to own tools required.  Knowledge of basic appliance repair is a plus.

    • Provide property maintenance and repairs services at residential, corporate and clinical sites including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
    • Compete walk-throughs and inspections.
    • Perform necessary documentation surrounding maintenance calls.




    • High School Diploma/GED and at least two years' professional experience in property maintenance.
    • Must hold valid driver’s license.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service approach.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, as well as perform independent functions.
    • Computer proficiency and/or willingness to learn new systems.
    • Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
