Overview

Rate: $23.00-$24.00/hour

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. This postion is on-site. 

 

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team across a variety of functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and training and development. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary customer service contact for the Human Resources and Training departments, responding to employee, manager, and applicant inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Assist with the administration of human resources programs, policies, and procedures for all employees.
  3. Maintain, organize, and manage personnel records and files in accordance with established guidelines and retention requirements.
  4. Support the recruitment and onboarding process by:
    1. Processing pre-employment and onboarding documentation.
    2. Submitting IT access and equipment requests.
    3. Supporting the E-Verify process.
    4. Ensuring completed new hire documentation is accurately routed to appropriate departments.
  5. Process and maintain employee information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including new hires, employee status changes, and updates to personal information.
  6. Coordinate training room scheduling and logistics for the Training Department.
  7. Manage training rosters and distribute training-related communications, including registration confirmations, reminders, and attendance follow-up notifications.
  8. Perform general administrative duties, including word processing, copying, filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
  9. Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
  10. Perform all duties in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures.
  11. Strictly follow all agency Performance Standards.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D, Associates or higher degree in related field preferred.
  2. 2 years’ administrative experience required. 1-2 years’ experience in human resources preferred.
  3. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  5. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
  6. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  7. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  8. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  11. Ability to follow direction and adapt to changing priorities.
