Overview

Starting Rate:  $17.50/hour

As an Asleep Overnight Direct Support Staff, you’ll help ensure peace of mind through the night and set the tone for a successful day ahead—all while working a schedule that allows for rest during your shift. This is a sleep-designated role, with the expectation that you’ll wake and respond when needed to support residents and ensure safety.  

This is more than an overnight positionit’s a chance to be a steady, reassuring presence and support individuals in living with dignity, independence, and confidence.

Thursday-Saturday 10:30p-8:30am

Responsibilities

  • Remain available and responsive during overnight hours as needed  
  • Assist with morning routines (personal care, clothing, meals, and day program preparation)  
  • Implement established treatment and support plans  
  • Provide transportation to day programs as needed  
  • Support a safe, clean, and structured home environment  
  • Respond to and report health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns appropriately  
  • Complete required documentation, including shift notes and behavioral observations  
  • Support and participate in fire drills and emergency preparedness activities  
  • Provide physical intervention in crisis situations when necessary  
  • Maintain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, MAP, SOLVE, HR/DPPC)  
  • Attend trainings, supervision, and team meetings as assigned  
  • Ensure individuals are treated with dignity and in accordance with Human Rights policies  

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • Ability to perform essential job duties reliably and safely  
  • Strong judgment and communication skills  
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn  
  • High energy, teamwork mindset, and strong interpersonal skills  
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport individuals  
  • Flexibility to work across programs as needed  
  • Sensitivity and commitment to supporting diverse populations strongly preferred
