                    Salary $71,000 - $76,000

  

The Senior In Home Therapy Clinician will provide family and strength based clinical services to families in the home and community settings. This position will provide intensive family therapy and therapeutic training and support services. The Senior In Home Therapy Clinician will be a leader on the CBHI Team, and will hold additional responsibilities in support of colleagues and the functioning of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive, home based behavioral health assessment including the CANS.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment planning.
  • Provide intensive family therapy.
  • Identify community resources and develop natural supports for youth and parent/guardian/caregiver
  • Provide complete care coordination
  • Provide skills training for youth and parent/caregiver/guardian
  • Provide member/service recipient transportation as needed in connection with service delivery.
  • Participate in Risk management/safety planning.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide on-call coverage.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with other providers.
  • Ensure that all clients are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates’ Human Rights policy.

 The Senior In Home Therapy Clinician will assist in supporting the team in a variety of ways, which may include some of the following:

  1. Provide individual supervision to other staff.
  2. Lead group supervision or other groups.
  3. Facilitate or co-facilitate staff trainings.
  4. Assist with outreach to families waiting for services.
  5. Lead mentoring program for new staff.
  6. Assist with new staff training and orientation.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field required, with two years’ minimum experience working with children, adolescents, or families.
  • Licensure strongly preferred (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD).
  • Certification to administer CANS-MA version.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with employees and providers.
  • High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
  • Commitment to Advocates values and mission.
  • Must hold a valid drivers’ license.  Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport members.
