The Team Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising a team of Re-entry Navigators who provide substance addiction recovery and community reintegration services to justice-involved individuals. They will ensure that addiction recovery services, care coordination, and case management are delivered effectively, while supporting staff development and maintaining partnerships with community resources.

The Team Supervisor is committed to delivering trauma-informed, recovery-focused care that empowers participants to manage addiction and rebuild their lives. They are responsible for day-to-day operations and the development of a safe and welcoming communal space at the drop in center. The Team Supervisor will provide administrative and supportive supervision to re-entry navigators, in one on one and group settings, and will oversee group, family, and individualized programming and overall coordination of the program.

• Program Oversight and Quality Assurance: Oversee day-to-day operations of women and non-binary re-entry services programming, ensuring that all participants receive comprehensive recovery and wellness support. Implement best practices to educate and engage participants in multiple pathways to recovery, ensuring participants and people with lived expertise have a voice in all aspects program implementation, service delivery, and program evaluation.
• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the communal space, ensuring a safe, welcoming and functional environment for all users.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise and support re-entry navigation staff, providing guidance and resources to enhance team performance and cohesion. Assist Program Director with administrative and supported supervision of intake coordinator and re-entry navigators; including gender affirming services, in one on one and in group formats.
• Program Development: Design and implement group, family, and individualized programming that meets the diverse needs of participants.
• Coordination: Ensure effective coordination of activities and services within the communal space, fostering collaboration among staff and participants.
• Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly assess programming and operations, seeking participant feedback to continuously improve services and experiences.
• Partner Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community and justice partners to enhance program offerings and support networks.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with relevant policies, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe environment.
• Leadership in Substance Addiction Services: Supervise and lead Re-entry Navigators in delivering high-quality substance addiction and recovery services to justice-involved individuals. Ensure that staff are equipped to provide SUD recovery and harm reduction services, and case management to support participants through every stage of their reintegration journey.
• Service Coordination and Community Partnerships: Collaborate with community-based addiction recovery resources, peer-led programs, and treatment providers to ensure participants receive comprehensive, holistic care. Develop and maintain relationships with peer support networks and ensure these resources are integrated into participants' service plans.
• Crisis Management and Recovery Focus: Supervise crisis intervention efforts, ensuring that staff are trained to manage addiction-related crises and that participants are connected to appropriate levels of care.
• Client Advocacy and Barrier Mitigation: Support navigators in advocating for participants by addressing external barriers, such as housing, family reunification, legal challenges, or access to healthcare. Ensure that addiction recovery services are delivered in conjunction with these advocacy efforts.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Monitor staff documentation and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with program standards. Track participant progress and recovery outcomes, using this data to improve service delivery.
• Strategic Program Development: Collaborate with program leadership to develop and refine re-entry and recovery services, focusing on peer support integration, trauma-informed care, and long-term recovery planning.
• Perform additional duties and job assignments as directed.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field required; LADC or CADAC licensure strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in re-entry services, case management, or related work, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Lived expertise with intersecting substance use and legal involvement strongly preferred, minimum of five years of sustained recovery
• Understanding of multiple paths to recovery and wellness and of harm reduction principles
• Strong knowledge of community-based resources, SUD treatment continuum, and service coordination
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership experience in addiction recovery or re-entry services.
• Ability to support re-entry navigators in managing complex cases, developing professional boundaries, and delivering member centric services

• Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, automobile insurance and access to vehicle to be used as directed and when needed for transport.
