                                        Salary: $65,000-$68,000

 

 

The Reentry Services Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision, consultation, and leadership to reentry navigators.  The Clinical Supervisor will facilitate evidence-based, results-oriented case management and reentry navigation and inform sound decision-making for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and training to reentry navigation and recovery coach staff in a manner that meets professional and best-practice standards.
  • Participate in the review of the bio-psychosocial for all individuals completing the assessment intake process.
  • Review all Individual Support, Safety, and Disenrollment Plans and provide guidance to reentry navigators to ensure case management and clinical appropriateness of service delivery.
  • Provide substance abuse and mental health evaluations and counseling to participants as necessary.
  • Lead case record review and provide clinical guidance in appropriate treatment methodologies and referrals.
  • Participate in, review and approve, in conjunction with team members, participant intakes, discharges, and graduations.
  • Assist in identifying, cultivating and maintaining relationships with key operational partners to help facilitate admission of participants into housing, substance use and mental health treatment and healthcare services.
  • Establish an audit process and maintain a regular audit schedule for case management notes and data entry.
  • Assist the Project Director with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) design, implementation and maintenance efforts to ensure business excellence.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of Advocates’ policy and procedure standards.
  • Responsible for compliance with all service delivery licensing standards and requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary forms/documentation are provided within the clinical record in a complete, accurate, and timely fashion.
  • Complete case management staff’s performance evaluations according to agency standards.
  • Maintain email communication with colleagues; electronic scheduling through current software; creating and maintaining word-processing documents and spreadsheets as required by supervisor. 
  • Attend Weekly Operations Meeting and other meetings and trainings as requested by the supervisor.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client, employee and organization issues and information.
  • Attend all trainings as assigned.
  • Attend and actively participate in supervision, staff meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Adheres to program procedures, guidelines, processes and protocols. 
  • Provides on-call support as required and within the team structure.
  • Provides crisis intervention and mediation as required.   
  • This position is hybrid, but must be able to commute to Essex and Middlesex Counties

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or counseling with two years minimum experience working with individuals in the criminal justice system.
  • Current independent license with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Must have the ability to obtain security clearance to enter jails and prisons.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Strong computer knowledge.
  • Ability to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with employees and providers.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.
  • Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
